To build a new query from scratch, access the FlyMine QueryBuilder at the bottom FlyMine home page, from the QueryBuilder tab in the main menu bar or by choosing a query starting point at the bottom of a data category page.

The query builder page allows you to choose a class from which to start building a query from scratch. Build your query by adding constraints and selecting your results output in the same way as already described for altering a template.
